In a recent edition of the “Casual Conversations with the Classic” podcast, Karmen Petrovic, a superstar associated with WWE NXT, shared some noteworthy guidance that she had received from wrestling veteran Shawn Michaels.
On the show, Petrovic recounted her conversation with Michaels saying, “After I finished my initial bout with Ivy on Level Up, I returned, feeling on top of the world. I came backstage when the hustle and bustle had subsided, and everyone had settled down after the completion of the show. I approached him to bid farewell and he remarked that I did an excellent job. He expressed his elation saying, ‘You’ve found your niche here. I believe you are capable of pursuing this athletic career for as long as you wish. However, don’t take a page out of my book and stick around forever.’ It was a moment accompanied by laughs.”
Petrovic further recalled Michaels’ encouraging words, “He went on to say, ‘Frankly, I have no concerns about you. You can stay in this field for as long as you decide to, and I look forward to witnessing your journey.’ This encouraging statement will forever remain etched in my memory.”
