Kane, while interacting on a Q&A on The Undertaker’s Patreon, opened up about his 2001 Royal Rumble performance. Kane believes his act in the event was instrumental for his character’s sustainability in WWE. He explained that his win in the Royal Rumble established his credibility as a skilled wrestler rather than just a novelty.

However, he also confessed that he isn’t particularly fond of Battle Royals since they often turn into chaotic messes. He acknowledged that the Royal Rumble was an exception and emphasized how unique it was for a larger-sized wrestler such as himself to last so long in the match, which hadn’t been done before.
