Kamille’s New NWA Milestone, Deonna Purrazzo/Josh Alexander, NJPW All Star Junior Festival
Kamille has reached a new milestone as the NWA Women’s World Champion.
NWA announced on Tuesday that Kamille has hit 800 days as champion. The feat gives Kamille the longest title reign in NWA since Jazz held the NWA Women’s World Title for 948 days from September 2016 to April 2019.
Kamille currently has the sixth-longest title reign of all time behind MsChif (818 days), Jazz, and three reigns by The Fabulous Moolah that ran 1,909 days; 3,651 days; and 3,841 days.
Kamille will defend the NWA Women’s World Championship against Natalia Markova at NWA 75 (Night One) on August 26.

On the “Sunday Night’s Main Event” podcast, Deonna Purrazzo, who is a big fan of Josh Alexander, expressed her excitement to see the former Impact World Champion return to the ring at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2 and Impact Emergence 2023.
Alexander has been on the shelf for most of the year after suffering a triceps tear in March and will compete in a 12-man tag team match at the crossover event on August 20. Purrazzo said,
“Of course I’m going to say myself vs. Trinity for the Knockouts World Championship. But I’m really excited to see Josh Alexander return to in-ring competition. He’s [also] returning to in-ring competition in Canada, how could you not be excited about that? I’m a big Josh Alexander fan, I’m an even bigger Jet Alexander fan.”
NJPW has announced that Alex Shelley, Chris Bey, Ace Austin, Robbie Eagles, Kosei Fujita, TJP, Cheeseburger, and Yoshinobu Kanemaru will compete in a Lucky Dip Tag Match at the 2023 All Star Junior Festival, which will see all pairings determined at random at the start of the match.
NJPW also announced a five-way match featuring Lio Rush, Fugaz, Dragon Kid, Soberano Jr., and KC Navarro for the upcoming show.
NJPW All Star Junior Festival takes place on August 19th in the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
