Following weeks of dissatisfaction expressed by Mercedes Moné towards her enforcer, Kamille, involving constant criticism and belittlement, Kamille has finally had enough and has decided to terminate her role under Moné’s leadership.
In the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, a brief promo section took an unexpected turn when Moné was about to dismiss Kamille. Moné initiated saying, “So Kamille, since you can’t get anything done right, I just wanted to tell you that you’re—” However, Kamille interjected saying, “Shut up! Are you stupid, or are you dumb? You can’t fire me, cause I quit.”
In a display of defiance, Kamille abruptly pushed the microphone into Moné’s torso and exited the scene, leaving Moné, the TBS and New Japan Pro Wrestling STRONG women’s champion flabbergasted. The segment concluded with an irate outburst from Moné.
A tweet from the official All Elite Wrestling timeline captured the reaction: “What did Kamille just do?!”
This episode marks the termination of their association that began on July 24th with Kamille’s introduction at Blood & Guts, where she assisted Moné during her quarrel with Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
Even though Kamille is still wearing her brace, the exact date when these two will come face to face in the ring remains uncertain. Yet, a confrontation appears to be inevitable.
