“The American Ninja Warrior” is back with the black and gold brand.
Kacy Catanzaro partook in the women’s battle royal to determine the number one contender for Rhea Ripley’s NXT Women’s Title this past week on NXT and she is now back as an in ring competitor. According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, Catanzaro was never actually released from her contract although there were talks of her contemplating retirement after she injured her back, but in September of last year, Catanzaro’s boyfriend Ricochet did make that clarification to Sports Illustrated, stating, “She’s still with the company. She’s not retired at all and she’s not injured. It’s a tough sport and we’re all hurting, but there is nothing wrong with her.” Her contemplation was moreso about having kids and determining if life on the road was something she wanted to do.
Kacy took to Twitter to thank fans for the support that she’s been receiving since she made that return to the squared circle.
You guys are.. THE BEST! 😭🙌🏼. Thank you for the continued support! https://t.co/fIqerIT1mu
