Kacy Catanzaro Comments On Being Seen Maskless In Public, Says She Follows Protocol Everywhere She Has To

Kacy Catanzaro addresses the elephant in the room and says despite what people think they see on social media, she is taking proper precautions to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kacy posted a new video on Twitter in response to the negative feedback about her being seen in videos on social media where she’s maskless in public settings. Catanzaro has drawn criticism in recent weeks for several posts that saw her not wearing a mask in public, including gathering at a New Year’s Eve party with friends and a more recent video that saw her at a restaurant before the Super Bowl. Many people continue to ask why Catanzaro has not been taking the proper precautions and following protocols, but she is now speaking out and says she is doing her part and does follow protocol when necessary.
“What’s up, Twitter? I just wanted to get on here and be able to talk to everyone for a minute. I know that people are concerned that I was at a restaurant over the weekend. I want everyone to know that I hear you and I appreciate the concern. Here where I live in Florida restaurants are open to a certain capacity. You have to wear a mask when we go in, and when we leave, and really any time that we aren’t sitting down at our table we have to have a mask, but when we are sitting down to eat or drink we are allowed to take our masks off and I know that that’s the part that people saw, that people were upset with.
I’m sorry for anybody that is upset. I understand your concern and I want you to know that I do care about the safety of others around me and myself and I follow all of the protocols. Luckily for me with work, we get tested at least once a week, if not twice sometimes, and I carry my hand sanitizer and my [inaudible] with me everywhere. Everywhere that we have to, I wear my mask. I’m sorry that this moment made people think otherwise, but I just want you all to know that I hear you, I appreciate the concern. I am looking out for the safety of others around me as well as trying to take care of myself the best I can, and I wish the best for everybody else.”

Kacy Catanzaro also drew criticism this week for a boudoir photo post that she captioned with: “The most beautiful thing you can wear is confidence.” A large majority of the comments were in reference to the belief that she wasn’t following protocol and said she should wear a mask instead.
