During an appearance on the “DeFalco Files” podcast, Karrion Kross, the former NXT Champion, spoke about how he’s honed his wrestling skills for television. Kross pointed out that many independent wrestlers are not trained in wrestling live on TV and therefore are not familiar with the intricacies involved.

Kross expanded on how he has had to strategically think about the production truck and cameras while wrestling for WWE. “Independent talents often struggle to understand the nuances of working with television or cameras. Wrestling on TV involves understanding where cameras are placed and anticipating their movements,” Kross noted, “My wrestling strategy involves actively working towards the cameras, as I know they will capture my performance. I was always motivated to learn this aspect even before I joined WWE.”

Conveying the message he learned from Joe Defalco, Kross emphasized that wrestlers need to be prepared for any scenario that might arise in WWE. Whether it’s delivering a 60-second promo or wrestling an Iron Man match, Kross stressed the importance of being able to adapt and perform confidently.

On another note, Jordynne Grace, the former TNA Knockouts Champion who is currently part of the NXT brand, also expressed her ambitions during an interview with WWE Die Woche. “I have many goals, the foremost being to have my WrestleMania moment, which I think is a common goal among all wrestlers. After being a TNA champion for a long period, my aim now is to achieve the same in NXT and WWE.”
