During the most recent episode of WWE NXT broadcasted on October 29, 2024, TNA Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace provided an unexpected reinforcement for the main protagonists of the brand.
Zaria, a new addition to the roster, made her first in-ring appearance, defeating Brinley Reece with a pinfall. Immediately following the match’s culmination, a group known as Fatal Influence appeared amongst the audience, insinuating retaliation on Zaria for her win over them at the NXT Halloween Havoc event.
The scene was further interrupted by Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez, who too were eager to greet the newcomer Zaria in a not so admirable manner, by surrounding the ring, poised to attack.
Kelani Jordan, followed by Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer, quickly dashed to Zaria’s assistance. However, the odds remained skewed towards the heels. It was then when Jordynne Grace, a former TNA Knockout’s world champion (who had lost her title to Masha Slamovich at the Bound for Glory event), stepped in and balanced the odds. She aided the faces in shunning away the “mean girls of NXT”, a term coined by Vic Joseph to describe the antagonistic group.
After a momentary commercial pause, it was disclosed that an upcoming 10-woman tag team match was scheduled for the following week that would include all the above-mentioned Superstars.
