On a recent episode of the “Under The Ring” podcast, Je’Von Evans, a WWE NXT Superstar, shared his experiences and insights regarding his training stint at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. He particularly noted the positive influence of coaches Matt Bloom and Johnny Moss in his wrestling journey.
Evans expressed, “I got the opportunity to learn from the forefront wrestlers. Most of them are the best, that’s why they’re there coaching. I am aiming to be the best, so any advice is valuable, even if it doesn’t strike a chord with me immediately, I will need it down the line. Usually, I take advice from Matt Bloom and Johnny Moss. They’re firm, straightforward, brutally honest, and I value that. Criticism helps me improve and prove my worth. Also, veteran wrestlers like Josh Briggs are of great help too.”
On another podcast, “The Angle”, Jonathan Coachman discussed his time in WWE and working with John Cena, who is nearing the end of his career.
The podcast highlighted many notable incidents, including Ric Flair’s extravagant spending of ,000 on a night out, to embody the title of world champion. Coachman also mentioned when Cena was scheduled for a match with Shawn Michaels that lasted a full hour. He commended Cena’s ability to evolve and adapt with time.
On Cena’s wrestling future, Coachman explained, “Cena understands his body limitations and the need for preserving appearances. Considering his burgeoning movie, voiceover career and personal life, he’s ready for a transition.”
