Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) personality, Jonathan Coachman, has advocated for a radical transformation within the WWE organization, especially concerning the role of writers.
Recently, a ‘Rolling Stone’ feature shed light on the myriad challenges faced by WWE writers working under the reign of Vince McMahon prior to his departure in early 2024.
Using Twitter as his platform, Coachman voiced his support for a significant shift within the organization. He lamented about the extensive plans which often took considerable time to craft, only to be discarded swiftly.
In a Tweet, Coachman mentioned, “Until there is a fundamental shift in philosophy writing for the @WWE will continue to be one of the best/worst jobs out there. During his tenure with WWE, Coachman adopted multiple roles, including those of a commentator, interviewer, competitor, and authority figure. Despite his diverse range of roles, he has expressed that he would not consider a second stint with WWE due to the subpar treatment he received during his last association with the company.
