During a recent episode of the “SHAK Wrestling” podcast, current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley opened up about his aspirations for All Elite Wrestling, his mindset during the Death Riders narrative, among other topics.
Here are some key takeaways from the podcast discussion:
When discussing his aspirations for All Elite Wrestling, Moxley shared, “Over a span of two months, I found myself doing a lot of introspection. I would often take strolls around Downtown Cincinnati in the wee hours, as is my habit. But during these quiet times, a vision materialized. A vision of a possible future – a future that could be collectively ours. I have absolutely not a single care to give. That sets the tone for my approach from here on. It is shared by my group too. Right now, as I strive to realize these ambitions, I see this as a battle I’m willing to wage unto my last breath.”
Commenting on his mindset in the ongoing storyline, Moxley revealed, “I’ve witnessed folks saying the same thing [about not giving a damn] and sticking by it, even if it costs them everything. While I don’t plan on that outcome for myself, it’s a battle I’m ready to fight to the end. There’s a certain exhilaration about the whole situation.”
