Jon Moxley Puts Kenny Omega Through A Glass Table, Chris Jericho Wins Main EventJon Moxley

The main event of All Elite Wrestling’s first episode of Dynamite saw Chris Jericho, Santana, and Ortiz go up against Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. Both Omega and Jericho appeared earlier in the show, having tense interactions with Nyla Rose and Cody Rhodes, respectively.

The match started with Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho in the ring, which was fitting as the two have fought twice before. However, this was all just a mental tactic as Jericho immediately tagged himself out. It didn’t take long for Jericho to get into the match properly and we saw the AEW Champion get lit up by Omega before both of the Bucks took out Santana and Ortiz with concurrent dives.

Jon Moxley then interfered with the match and began attacking Kenny Omega, but the match strangely wasn’t ended. Moxley dragged Omega out to the crowd and the two brawled throughout the arena. This left the Young Bucks in a two-on-three handicap match. After Omega got a few shots in with a mop, Moxley then put Omega through a glass coffee table.

With the advantage, Jericho’s team was able to simply outgun the Bucks. They were able to rotate in and out and remain fresher as Matt and Nick Jackson struggled just to stay in the match. The teamwork of Ortiz and Santana really shined and the two mocked the Bucks with a diving headbutt pin. Even with the disadvantage, the Bucks refused to give up and Matt Jackson managed to tag in his brother, who valiantly battled with both of the former LAX members. However, some interference from Jericho was able to save his partners. The number games was simply too much and Jericho hit a Judas Effect to win the match.
