Lola Vice recently appeared on the “Mark Moses Show” podcast, commenting on a range of subjects, including her bout with Natalya in NXT Underground at the NXT Spring Breakin’ event.
Here are some key points from the podcast below:
Talking about her match with Natalya: “That was an extraordinary match. Natalya proved to be a challenging competitor. She’s an icon in the industry and I admire her. Fortunately, I came out victorious and managed to beat her. That’s an experience I’ll always cherish.”
Working with Natalya: “Natalya is like my wrestling guru. I always seek her advice and bombard her with numerous questions. Her wealth of knowledge, incredible talent, and fighting her was like a dream realized, especially considering I used to watch her on Total Divas. It was a full-circle moment for me, and I’m delighted I had this opportunity with her.”
Johnny Gargano considers that his younger self would be approving.
In a recent interview on “The Wrestling Classic” podcast, Gargano talked about his main event at last week’s WWE SmackDown episode in his hometown, Cleveland, OH, he shared,
“Remembering myself as a young eight-year-old Johnny Gargano, I had this thought recently. In the Summer of 1996, I attended my first live show at the Gund Arena, currently known as the Rocket Mortgage Field House, and envisioned myself as a professional wrestler since that day. I got to fulfill that dream by headlining that same arena as one-half of the Tag Team Champions.”
Gargano continued, “I believe my younger self would be proud of the achievements, how we’ve grown, and not only as a wrestler but as a person. I always strive to do my best and I think, I’ve turned out quite alright. So, I reckon we’ve done pretty well for ourselves.”
