John Skyler Made An Impact Against Laredo Kid, Appreciates The Dichotomy Of Styles

WrestleZone recently spoke with IMPACT Wrestling’s John Skyler, who pointed to some of his recent work on IMPACT’s “Behind The IMPACT” with Laredo Kid as some standout matches in his recent run.
“I think a lot of IMPACT Wrestling fans have gotten a taste of exactly what I’m capable of recently in my matches with Laredo Kid. I think when we look back at the career of John Skyler in IMPACT Wrestling, maybe ten years from now, I think those are the matches that people look back on and say those are the ones that put me on the map here because with those,” he noted, “there’s such a unique dichotomy of styles with my southern, rough around the edges, dirty wrestling and with Laredo Kid, the exact opposite, high-flyer, well versed in Lucha Libre. So, when you let us go out there and you give us 15 minutes, you can see where the contrast in styles make for the best wrestling matches. I think a lot of the people who have tuned into IMPACT Wrestling recently, can look at any of the three or four matches that we had and I can say a lot of those best represent what I’ve done in the last 13 years.”
