John Hennigan Signs With AEW, Jack Perry To Turn Heel

As we previously reported here on eWn, John Hennigan returned to AEW at the Rampage TV tapings and teamed with QTV against The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn.

Pwinsider is reporting that Hennigan has signed a deal with AEW and will appear for the company going forward. The WWE and Impact alumnus will be using either Johnny Television or Johnny TV as his new ring name.

Hennigan’s wife Taya Valkyrie debuted in AEW on the March 15, 2023, episode of Dynamite.

Meanwhile, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry will challenge SANADA for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Perry is set to turn heel soon.

Perry has been teasing a heel turn in recent weeks, including when he almost cheated in the Four Pillars AEW World Title Match at Double Or Nothing 2023.
