WWE legend John Cena is poised to bring his acting prowess to Netflix through a brand-new comedy film project where he will form a dynamic duo with Eric Andre.
As reported by the esteemed industry publication “Deadline”, the film titled “Little Brother” will center on “a real estate agent whose meticulously designed world is thrown into chaos when his quirky little brother makes an unexpected return.”
Cena’s participation in this project is the most recent addition to his ever-growing acting resume, which has been steadily expanding due to his performances in popular films such as the Fast & Furious series, The Suicide Squad, Argylle, and even the Barbie movie.
In terms of his wrestling career, Cena is gearing up for his retirement from the WWE ring. During 2024’s Money in the Bank event, he revealed that his ultimate match will take place in 2025.
On another note, Cena’s appearance in Raw’s Netflix debut on January 6th, the Royal Rumble in February, and his promotion for the March’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event have all been confirmed.
Interestingly, one of Cena’s WWE rivals is rooting for him to secure a 17th World Title before his anticipated retirement. Click here for more details.
