John Cena To Produce & Star In ‘WWE: Recruits’ Docuseries For Roku

John Cena will both produce and feature on WWE: Recruits, a new docuseries coming to the streaming service Roku.

Deadline reports that Cena will be one of several WWE Superstars to appear on the show, alongside Triple H, Bianca Belair, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, and Big E.

The eight-part docuseries will follow the training and journey of men and women looking to make their professional wrestling dreams a reality.

Speaking to Deadline, Cena expressed his excitement for the show. He said,

“Millions around the world watch and dream of it, but only a handful of extraordinary individuals can become a WWE Superstar. I am so excited to bring WWE: Recruits to The Roku Channel and look forward to giving viewers an exclusive all-access perspective on how the WWE turns the dreams of talented young people into a reality.”

It is reported that filming for the show took place behind the scenes last weekend at WWE WrestleMania 39.
