John Cena returned to WWE at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on Sunday. In doing so, he returned on a live WWEs show for the first time since WWE WrestleMania 36.

In the main event, Roman Reigns retained the WWE Universal Championship against Edge. After the bout, Cena came to the ring to a remarkable pop from the crowd. He confronted Reigns and made it clear that he intends to challenge for the title.
