John Cena Returns At Money In The Bank 2023; Teases WrestleMania In UK
The WWE Universe, particularly the raucous crowd in London, England, was treated to a surprise appearance by John Cena at tonight’s Money in the Bank 2023 pay-per-view event. Cena played to London crowd quite a bit, as he thanked the WWE Universe and told the fans, “YOU ARE THE SHOW!”
He then highlighted how MITB marks the first pay-per-view event in England in over 20 years, before burying the “decision makers.”
Cena further went on to tease a future WrestleMania in London, prompting the fans to go absolutely crazy, but he was soon interrupted by Grayson Waller. Waller pandered to Cena while simultaneously taking a few sneaky shots at the 16-time World Champion, and then suggested that WrestleMania should go to Australia instead of England.
Being met with a chorus of boos, he invited John Cena on ‘The Grayson Waller Effect’ at ‘WrestleMania Australia.’ Cena refused, and which led to Waller attacking him. Cena fought back with an AA and stood tall to close the segment.
