John Cena has admitted that he was totally in the wrong with previous insults about The Rock regarding the Brahma Bull staying away from wrestling.

Both before and during their feud in the early 2010s, Cena would often take shots at The Rock whose Hollywood career would keep him away from WWE for years.

On a recent edition of Logan Paul’s “IMPAULSIVE” podcast, Cena regretted his comments now that he has first-hand experience of how busy an acting career can be. He said,

“I spent years calling out The Rock saying man if you love the business you should be back, what a f****** hypocrite I am, I love the business, I should be back all the time but I’m not.”

The Rock defeated Cena in their ‘Once In A Lifetime’ encounter at WrestleMania 28. John would get his win back (and the WWE Championship) in their rematch the following year.

John Cena’s most recent match for WWE saw the 16-time WWE World Champion lose to Solo Sikoa at WWE Crown Jewel in November of last year.

John Cena, the renowned professional wrestler and actor, has recently expressed regret over his past insults towards fellow wrestler-turned-actor, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Cena admitted that he was in the wrong for criticizing The Rock’s decision to focus on his Hollywood career and stay away from wrestling.

During their feud in the early 2010s, Cena frequently took shots at The Rock, mocking him for prioritizing his acting aspirations over his wrestling roots. However, Cena’s perspective has since changed as he now understands the demands and commitments that come with pursuing an acting career.

In a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s “IMPAULSIVE” podcast, Cena openly acknowledged his hypocrisy, stating, “I spent years calling out The Rock saying man if you love the business you should be back, what a f****** hypocrite I am, I love the business, I should be back all the time but I’m not.” This admission reflects Cena’s newfound appreciation for the challenges that come with balancing a successful acting career and a love for professional wrestling.

The Rock and Cena famously faced off in a highly anticipated match at WrestleMania 28, which was billed as a “Once In A Lifetime” encounter. The Rock emerged victorious in their first encounter, but Cena would later get his revenge and win back the WWE Championship in their rematch the following year.

Since then, John Cena’s involvement in WWE has been sporadic. His most recent match took place at WWE Crown Jewel in November of last year, where he faced Solo Sikoa and suffered a defeat. Cena’s busy schedule in Hollywood has limited his availability for wrestling appearances, further emphasizing the challenges he previously failed to recognize.

Cena’s realization serves as a reminder that it is important to consider different perspectives before passing judgment. His experience has allowed him to empathize with The Rock’s decision to pursue other opportunities while still maintaining a love for the wrestling business.
