Fans are the most important part of professional wrestling.
16-time WWE World Champion John Cena seems to agree with that notion.
The leader of ‘Cenation’ was recently a guest on ‘The Tonight Show’ and explained how once he was told that fans were coming back to WWE, it was a no-brainer decision to make his return as well.
“I had a month off and they ‘hey, do you want to come to work’ and they told me live audiences were back and I said ‘boy, do I!’ because I love live audiences! There is no better feeling than being in front of a live audience and I’m so grateful to have all of you here and be back with a live audience. There is no other energy like performing or entertaining or telling stories or just shooting the s*** with a live audience, so thank you very much.”
Cena made his highly anticipated return to WWE when he confronted Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the end of this year’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view but would fall short in his bid to claim the aforementioned Reigns’ title at SummerSlam.
