John Cena, the well-known WWE superstar, has indicated that his tenure with the WWE may be drawing to a close.
During April, Cena made an appearance on RAW and assisted The Miz and R-Truth in achieving victory in a match. In prior discussions, he had expressed an awareness of his approaching retirement from the wrestling ring, aiming to hang up his boots before he turns 50 in 2027.
Recently, Cena conversed with PEOPLE, revealing that his professional wrestling career is steadily reaching its conclusion.
In his own words: “I know my WWE journey is coming to an end, but fitness was a part of my life long before the WWE journey started. Fitness will be a part of my life, hopefully as long as my heart’s beating. So the WWE has been a great chapter in my life — it’s year 23 for me — and the sun’s setting on that chapter in the book, but fitness will never not be a part of my life.”
