John Cena has very quickly branched out of his role as a WWE superstar and made his mark in the world of Hollywood. Now, the legendary wrestling figure is also lending his voice to Honda, as the company has announced that he will be the new voice of the Honda brand.
Honda recently announced its brand new campaign for the upcoming year, which will highlight a handful of new car designs, including the 2021 Passport and Pilot SUVs. Alongside the news, Jay Joseph – the Vice President of Automobile Marketing for American Honda Motor Co., Inc – revealed that Cena would be joining the brand. Cena’s voice will be featured across all marketing creative ventures for Honda cars and light trucks.
“John Cena is known for his toughness and strength, but he also has a lot of heart and he’s a real car enthusiast, making him a perfect fit to be the new voice of Honda,” said Joseph in a brief statement. Cena himself also acknowledged the news in a statement, saying that he was looking forward to the new relationship, and has always been a big fan of the company as a whole.
