On a recent episode of the podcast “What Do You Wanna Talk About,” hosted by Cody Rhodes, WWE superstar Randy Orton explored his ties with fellow wrestler, John Cena.
John Cena’s farewell tour is set to commence next year and is proposed to comprise 36 stops, with highlights including WrestleMania 41, Elimination Chamber 2025, and Royal Rumble 2025. Cena’s career-ending match is currently slated for December 2025.
During the podcast, Orton expressed his sentiments about Cena, saying, “You know, I had trust in figures like Triple H and Ric Flair, but it was the bond that I shared with John that was truly special. At that point, I wasn’t sure if those guys respected me, but I felt that John did. He appreciated certain aspects of my in-ring abilities and this sense of respect from his side fostered a deep trust within me. I felt secure to let him take the lead, and believed that any advice he gave me was invaluable. It was like he was sharing his personal golden rulebook.”
In future news, Randy Orton has his sights set on challenging GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship at the WWE Bash In Berlin 2024 event. The championship match is scheduled for Saturday, August 31, at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany.
