The latest Stanley Cup results seem to suggest that being a fan of Joe Hendry could potentially increase a team’s chances of scoring championships in hockey.
In a historic first, the Florida Panthers clinched the 2024 Stanley Cup with a 2-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers.
As the first goal of the crucial Game 7 was being scored by Carter Verhaeghe, attentions were drawn to a fan’s placard shown on the broadcast, paying tribute to the renowned TNA Wrestling star.
Responding to the nod to his music track, Hendry took to Twitter to recall a previous conversation with Shawn Michaels, WWE NXT’s figurehead.
The tweet read, “I told @ShawnMichaels I could show up anywhere, anytime, any show! Tonight it was the Stanley Cup 👏 👏 #StanleyCup https://t.co/I4ZlKcScpm — Joe Hendry (@joehendry) June 25, 2024.”
Despite just recently appearing on WWE NXT, rumors are rife that Hendry is set to feature in more crossover shows given the enthusiasm shown by both WWE NXT and TNA, setting the stage for exciting times ahead for the Scotsman.
