TNA World Title holder Moose has expressed admiration for the rising fame of Joe Hendry, envisioning the Scottish wrestler as the potential future John Cena.
The year 2024 marked significant strides for Hendry as he not only dominated in the TNA Wrestling ring but also won over crowds during his WWE NXT appearances.
In a recent discourse with WhatCulture, Moose didn’t hold back his applause for Hendry, the victor of this week’s WWE NXT main event. He stated,
“I unequivocally believe in the prowess of Joe Hendry. Joe Hendry stands at the precipice of becoming the future John Cena. I am well aware of his relentless dedication. His narrative and journey are a testament to the rewards of diligence. Many are not privy to the efforts Joe Hendry has put in, the amount of enquiries he made, how he sought advice from veterans in the locker room on self-improvement and progression. I am simply glad that this extensive curiosity, his tireless labour and everything he has invested in to reach where he stands today is truly reaping dividends.”
Hendry is set to share the combat ring with Moose at the TNA Slammiversary 2024, in an anticipated six-man match for the TNA World Championship title.
The wrestling duo will be joined by Frankie Kazarian, Nic Nemeth, Josh Alexander, and Steve Maclin for the pay-per-view event on July 20th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
