Joe Doering Dominant Against Satoshi Kojima; Gets Win At IMPACT Against All Odds
Credit: IMPACT Wrestling
Joe Doering is indeed a massive presence on IMPACT Wrestling and the former All-Japan gajin had one of his highlight matches in IMPACT Wrestling at Against All Odds facing an old adversary in Satoshi Kojima.
The match starts off very back and forth, but it wasn’t long before Doering displayed his dominance. Eddie Edwards was in the corner for Kojima while Doering had his full crew of Violent By Design with him at ringside. Kojima did get a good deal of offense back at Doering, hitting his patented reverse elbow drop and catching Joe with a Koji-cutter. A bit of shenanegins did occur when it was Rhino who helped halt that momentum Kojima was building by attacking him when the official’s back was turned. Doering tried to end Satoshi with his Death Valley Driver and clothesline combo, but Kojima kicked out. That only set him up for a Doering delivered twisting powerbomb and that was good enough to secure the pinfall win.
Doering’s win makes it the first one for VBD tonight as both Deaner and Rhino will defend their IMPACT Tag Titles tonight against Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus of Decay.
