WWE Hall of Famer, John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield, frequently known as JBL, has been actively involved in the wrestling circuit lately. The question arising now is whether All Elite Wrestling (AEW) will be his next stop.
JBL has already been part of various wrestling platforms, such as TNA Wrestling, AAA, Game Changer Wrestling, Major League Wrestling, and is also a part of a WWE Legends contract.
During a recent episode of his “Grilling JR”, Ross shared his views about the possibilities of JBL joining AEW. “I think it’s a good idea. It enhances the show, it delivers a memorable moment in the ring for the fans. We aim to create unforgettable moments. Of course, every hold and wrist lock matters, but having him appear adds an extra element.
“The unexpected appearance of John would indeed be a pleasant surprise. I am not suggesting that he should go full time, as I am unsure if he has that intention. But him making occasional appearances would likely generate much buzz.” Ross iterated.
JBL has expressed his reason behind his wrestling comeback, stating he neither wants his unfortunate stint with Baron Corbin to be the last episode of his career in the industry.
During his non-WWE wrestling appearances, he has been billed as John Layfield, as WWE claims ownership over the ‘Bradshaw’ name.
