In a recent episode of his “Grilling JR” podcast show, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross shared his thoughts on Konosuke Takeshita’s future in AEW, and some other topics as well.
Here are some highlight points from that podcast episode:
Speaking about Konosuke Takeshita, Ross said: “I’m pretty certain that the limelight is set on Takeshita, who has a promising future. In my opinion, he should focus more on singles rather than being in tags. Takeshita boasts a great find, and I really wish they retain him. He’s a significant player and an athletic talent with an impressive look. He is indeed a keeper, as they say.”
Discussing Powerhouse Hobbs, Ross continued: “Another herculean talent there is Powerhouse Hobbs. If it were up to me, Powerhouse Hobbs would remain untouched. He is an unparalleled talent, from my perspective. Therefore, both Powerhouse Hobbs and Takeshita exited that nail-biting match in decent shape and with some spotlight on them, which I believe was a smart call.”
