Prominent commentator Jim Ross is unclear about whether Ricochet will make his way to AEW, but he’s hopeful that the unique wrestler will ink a contract. Ricochet, who recently severed ties with WWE after being under contract for six years, is rumored to be in talks to join AEW.
In the recent broadcast of his podcast, “Grilling JR,” Ross reflected on the potential of Ricochet joining AEW’s ranks, and remarked: “I don’t know if that is etched in stone or not; I would think so. I would think that he would be all-hands-on-deck and do a great job. So, I’m a fan of his work. He’s a nice kid and I wish him nothing but great success.”
While at WWE, Ricochet made a name for himself by becoming the first athlete to seize the US Intercontinental and NXT North American Titles. Further cementing his legacy, he was crowned the inaugural WWE Speed Champion.
