During a recent episode of his popular “Grilling JR” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross discussed the possibility of Gail Kim making the switch to AEW after her exit from TNA Wrestling.

Here are some key points from the podcast discussion:

When asked about the likelihood of Gail Kim moving to AEW, he stated emphatically, “No. And I would support that. If Tony Khan were to inquire about my opinion on the matter, I would definitely recommend her for the job. She’s an undeniably valuable asset in the wrestling world and she’s accomplished a great deal. I have nothing but admiration for Gail Kim, her reputation precedes her. She constantly delivers results. She’s exceedingly talented in collaboration with other talents. I am an ardent supporter of Gail Kim and I sincerely believe she should quickly find employ in the wrestling domain.”

Regarding the possibility of John Cena facing intensified criticism if he delivered his promos before American audiences, Ross speculated, “It might even intensify. I’m uncertain, but the heat could be even more. It’s purely my guess. We can only wait and see how it plays out, but the management is handling the conflict and the antagonistic aspect well. Maybe it’s just a continuation of fan perceptions and reactions, wherein Cena is seen as a villain. It’s a novel and interesting development. It’s good to see such changes, injecting freshness into things is always beneficial. The current approach towards giving Cena a new persona, in a metaphorical sense, applying a new coat of paint, is admirable.”
