Jim Cornette, a long-time wrestling commentator, recently praised former Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, lauding her as potentially the best female talent the WWE has ever seen.

Since arriving onto the WWE scene, Ripley has demonstrated an undeniable force, securing titles in RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and NXT UK Women’s Champion. This has made her a prominent figure in women’s wrestling.

On his well-known podcast, “The Jim Cornette Experience”, Cornette shined a spotlight on Ripley’s outstanding performance throughout her WWE career.

In his own words, Cornette commended, “Rhea Ripley is the best talent, currently, in women’s wrestling and maybe of all-time in women’s wrestling at an in-ring level. She’s very good on promos and she’s really over cause in-ring she stands above any other female in the business.”

Drama escalated at WWE SummerSlam 2024 when Ripley experienced betrayal at the hands of Dominik Mysterio. Later in the event, Damian Priest was equally shocked to be double-crossed by Finn Balor.

The following Monday on WWE RAW, Priest and Ripley found themselves opposing the newly-formed ‘Judgment Day’, a group consisting of the likes of Mysterio, Balor, Liv Morgan, Carlito, and JD McDonagh.
