During a recent guest appearance at Fanatics Fest NYC, WWE star Jey Uso spoke openly about his professional alliance with fellow wrestler Sami Zayn on the WWE RAW roster. This unlikely partnership surfaced following the split from The Bloodline, their earlier team.
The Uso-Zayn wrestling duo emerged victoriously against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in the previous Monday’s RAW bout.
Commenting on his rapport with Sami Zayn, Jey Uso respectfully said, “My dawg. Sami is a Uce for life in an honorary sense. He’s my go-to person on RAW, offering his support when I first set foot on RAW. Without a shred of doubt, Sami Zayn stands to me as a brother.”
Uso confessed that his initial dislike for Zayn was genuine, “Indeed, my initial reaction toward him was not positive, I admit it. It bothered me. ‘Why are you in my family’s dressing room? Get out.’ However, the more time I spent around him, the more I began to appreciate him. High key, I consider him as one of my favorite performers to watch. His discrete act, powerful promos, and unique wrestling style are advices to be cherished. I always look forward to learning from all of my colleagues. Everyone in the dressing room, from the highest to the lowest, we form an authentic family.”
Jey is scheduled to contend in the upcoming Intercontinental Title No. 1 Contenders Tournament, slated to kick off the next week. The champion of this tournament will get a shot to challenge Bron Breakker for the prestigious title at a future event.
