In a recent one on one talk with News4Jax, the legendary wrestling figure, Jerry “The King” Lawler shed light on multiple aspects of his illustrious career. During this conversation, he reflected specifically on his recruitment by the WWF in 1992 which allowed him to continue his engagements with USWA as well.

Narrating his journey, Lawler revealed, “He consented to introduce me into WWE while providing me the freedom to stay connected with USWA. Interestingly, the first instance of Vince turning heel was when he descended to Memphis and took on me, which was an unseen occurrence for everyone. From those encounters, he picked up a thing or two from me. My focus was never about being recognized as the greatest, but rather my passion for wrestling. I gave preference to wrestling over commentating and that’s how things unfolded naturally.”

As noteworthy incidents continue to fuel the wrestling world, this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown experienced Indiana Pacers player Tyrese Haliburton’s remarkable presence alongside famed personality, Logan Paul. This appearance instigated New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson to align himself with LA Knight, effectively intercepting Haliburton from interfering in the Knight vs. Paul vs. Santos Escobar match.

In a video that was shared on Twitter as a “Digital Exclusive”, Paul and Haliburton provided their remarks on the unfolding of these events. The footage can be seen here:

[Narrating the tweet] “Their strategies on SmackDown may not have played out as expected, yet @LoganPaul and @TyHaliburton22 maintain a positive outlook on the situation 😅”
