On a recent episode of the popular wrestling podcast, “WrestleBinge”, WWE Hall of Famer Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler provided insights into his current state of health following several health scares. The WWE legend elucidated,
“I feel fantastic. My only complaint is my knees feeling a bit off. I underwent a right knee replacement around six or seven months ago, and they mentioned it would take approximately a year for it to return to normal. In addition, my left knee requires replacement too, however, I intend to postpone that for some time.”
When questioned about his recovery from the stroke he had in 2023, Lawler acknowledged that it continues to be a part of his life every day. He added,
“The entire right portion of my body has suffered damage, and my writing abilities and drawing skills have been affected. Still, I am able to sign autographs. Apart from those, I am doing pretty well.”
Apart from the 2023 stroke, Lawler also had a heart attack in the middle of the RAW session in September 2012, which turned out to be his last wrestling match in WWE.
Lawler, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame since 2007, was recently seen on SmackDown, which transpired in his hometown of Memphis.
