Jerry “The King” Lawler, a respected figure in WWE, does not believe that John Cena should bow out from WWE. In a candid conversation on the “WrestleBinge” podcast, the WWE Hall of Fame inducted expressed his views that no one should ever consider retirement. He opined,
“Believe me, I don’t think retirement is something anyone should contemplate. There are numerous things that one can engage in, without using the term ‘retire.’ Following this logic, when I hear about someone retiring, I anticipate their demise. I would never insinuate that he’s about to retire.”
WWE pro wrestler, Zelina Vega, who holds the distinction of being the inaugural WWE Queen of the Ring three years prior, took to Twitter to share her joy on this milestone day. Her sentiments were echoed in the statement,
“I feel privileged to have my name etched as a First Ever in @WWE’s illustrious history. This was undoubtedly a high point in my professional journey.”
