On his recent stint on Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast, rapper Jelly Roll expressed high praise for WWE superstar Austin Theory for making him feel like a “rockstar” during their segment at the monumental WWE SummerSlam 2024 event.
Their collaborative SummerSlam segment included Jelly Roll delivering a chokeslam to Austin Theory—an instance which led Jelly Roll to acknowledge and appreciate Theory’s work in making him shine during their interaction. The segment concluded with Jelly Roll, the renowned singer, bestowing a chokeslam on Theory.
Taking to the podcast, he shared, “Austin Theory — a real-life superhero and an absolute champion. As someone who’s not from this industry, I don’t need to keep kayfabe. That man turned me into a rockstar on that stage. Eternal love for him. He took care of me the entire night, asking me to trust him. Had a sit-down with R-Truth and Miz, discussing creating a top viral moment if we got things right. Must say, Miz really helped me through it all. He really is the man, as is R-Truth. Felt better protected than being insured by Allstate. Being with them was utmost comfort.”
In other wrestling news, the Motor City Machine Guns made a victorious debut on Friday’s WWE SmackDown episode, defeating A-Town Down Under and Los Garzas and establishing their prowess in tag team action.
In a consequential one-on-one with Metro, WWE wrestler Jey Uso unveiled his aspirations to set the ring on fire with his brother Jimmy against Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin.
Jey expressed, “For a potential comeback, I’d choose the Motor City Machine Guns. And of course, I’d want to do it with Jimmy, considering we are an unbeatable tag team. We’ve accomplished so much, but with Jimmy by my side, we could create magic with Shelley and Sabin. Some guys from NXT or maybe the Lucha Bros could be considered too. But they’d have to step through this door first.”
