The AEW lockerroom is happy at the concept of carrying out in front of the “wild” fans in London, England later on this year.
Last November, AEW validated reports of a UK occasion in 2023, though no date or location has actually been provided for the program.
As AEW’s Director of Business Development, Jeff Jarrett will be greatly associated with the UK program behind the scenes and discussed the occasion on his My World Podcast
“When you’re broadening your brand name in expert wrestling, take a look at the late ’80s, early ’90s. What did the WWF do? They went to the UK.
“We’re all internally delighted. I understand the fan base– I wager in the last 3 months I’ve gotten 2 or 3 e-mails a week from various promoters and folks of contacts due to the fact that there’s a lots of buzz, a lots of enjoyment. I’m incredibly thrilled.
“The need because market is– when you truly take a look at it, London has what, 20 million individuals [really 8.9 million.] In general, the nation is little compared to the U.S. or even other nations. It’s a wild fan base.”
AEW aren’t the only ones with their eyes on the UK as WWE will host their yearly Money in the Bank PLE in London on July 1.
