WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett explored the topic of WWE granting Natalya permission to participate in the 2025 NWA Crockett Cup Tournament during a recent episode of his “My World” podcast.
As mentioned previously on eWn, Natalya is set to take part in the 2025 NWA Crockett Cup at the 2300 Arena (earlier known as the ECW Arena) located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Here are a couple of standout moments from the podcast:
Jeff Jarrett’s response to CM Punk’s March 3rd WWE RAW promo: “Allow me to tread cautiously as I share my thoughts as this may come across as cynical. Having been in the wrestling industry for 38 years, I’m all too familiar with the tradition of exciting Monday night shows and the tales they bring. The jaded part is that people might say, ‘Oh, this is just typical wrestling.’ When an Elimination Chamber or a significant event takes place, it’s imperative to give it all because there’s always another mega event approaching.
“Watching Punk deliver that promo gave me that familiar feeling. The mastery over words, the execution – there’s no better description for it than ‘that’s how it’s done.’ The spectators leave thinking, ‘That felt real,’ and that’s because it was sprinkled with reality, which is the inherent beauty of wrestling. When a promo is that deeply emotional and riveting, it reflects professional wrestling at its best, and frankly, it never loses its charm. Phil Brooks truly delivered a captivating promo.”
Jeff Jarrett’s thoughts on WWE letting Natalya perform at the NWA Crockett Cup Tournament: “I can’t help but notice how the wrestling business constantly transforms. Natalya, being a third-generation wrestler, hits all the right notes. Regardless of how you examine it, a WWE talent’s presence will undeniably be a top three highlight for any independent promotion that weekend. Essentially, it’s taking over a significant market share, which, in my opinion, is a strategic move.”
