Jeff Jarrett On Taylor Swift – ‘She Played Her First Album For Us’

Jeff Jarrett may have been a country singer in the WWF, but recently the AEW star opened up about his family’s friendship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Recently, a tweet went viral showing a young Swift in the Jarrett household, with many fans believing the image was photoshopped.

When Jeff Jarrett was working for TNA in their early years, his next door neighbour babysat his children.

Speaking to “TalkSPORT” Jarrett confirmed the legitimacy of the image and spoke about being friends with the ‘Shake it Off’ star. He said,

“She’s from Hendersonville – a friend of the family. There was a recent tweet that resurfaced and people were like ‘Is that photoshopped’ and I’m like ‘Who’s going to go out of their way to photoshop Taylor in my house playing the piano?’”

Jarrett recalled Swift playing her first album to the family when his wife Jill was battling the cancer that would take her life in 2007. He said,

“Taylor played her first album to us. Jill cried her a*s out, and the girls knew every word to every song. It was from God. For Taylor to step in here, a friend of a friend who I’d never met, and to this day Taylor keeps in touch with my girls.”

Jarrett has been in the UK over the past week promoting AEW All In. The much-anticipated event will mark AEW’s biggest ever event, and their first outside North America.
