On a recent episode of his podcast “My World”, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett expressed his opinions about Netflix’s new docuseries “Mr. McMahon”. This series, condensed into six episodes, delves deep into a number of sexual misconduct accusations leveled at McMahon by multiple women over a period of time.

Below are some highlighted opinions from the podcast:

As far as his initial reactions to the series on Vince McMahon are concerned, Jarrett said, “I’ve finished the first episode and made my decision— all of them are less than an hour, isn’t that so? They’re going to serve as my in-flight entertainment… So far, my initial impression in one word would be: repetitive. It’s not geared towards wrestling fans, rather casual viewers.”

Discussing the difficulties faced while scripting a three-hour wrestling show, he explained, “Sometimes, it’s just torturous. Writing for a two-hour program versus a three-hour one is a vastly different experience. It’s my personal opinion that it’s a huge challenge to write 12 or 13 segments. Striking the right balance with the ‘main event’ at the end of the second hour, that leads into the third one, while maintaining the juice and momentum is a finely tuned art. Then there are factors like who comes out first or who’s going to triumph the first crossover. It’s immensely challenging.”
