Jeff Jarrett believes fans have seen the last of Sting on AEW programming following the Icon’s final match at Revolution earlier this month.

On a recent edition of his “My World” podcast, Jarrett spoke about Sting’s future, which according to the AEW higher-up, won’t be on TV. He said,

“Sting is a guy that I … don’t think we’re gonna see. I think he’s gonna be attached. I think licensing and action figures and video games and the brand and everything that goes with it. But as far as manager or even producing backstage or any of those type deals, I just don’t think it’s in his DNA.”

Sting’s final match saw the Icon and Darby Allin retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against Matthew and Nicholas Jackson.

Those titles have since been vacated and new champions will be crowned at AEW Dynasty next month.

After a highly anticipated final match at AEW Revolution earlier this month, it seems that fans may have seen the last of Sting on AEW programming. Jeff Jarrett, a prominent figure in AEW, recently discussed Sting’s future on his “My World” podcast, revealing that he believes Sting will no longer appear on television.

Jarrett expressed his thoughts on Sting’s future, stating that he believes the wrestling legend will still be involved with AEW in other capacities. However, he does not see Sting taking on roles such as a manager or producer backstage. Jarrett believes that Sting’s involvement will primarily revolve around licensing, action figures, video games, and the overall brand associated with the iconic wrestler.

Sting’s final match at AEW Revolution was a memorable one, as he teamed up with Darby Allin to successfully defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against Matthew and Nicholas Jackson. This victory marked a significant moment for Sting and his fans, as it showcased his ability to compete at a high level even in the later stages of his career.

Unfortunately, the reign of Sting and Allin as tag team champions was short-lived. The titles have since been vacated, and a new set of champions will be crowned at the upcoming AEW Dynasty event next month. While Sting’s time as an active competitor may have come to an end, his impact on the wrestling industry and his legacy as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time will undoubtedly continue.

Sting’s presence in AEW has been a major draw for fans, as he brought a sense of nostalgia and excitement to the promotion. His return to the ring after a lengthy hiatus was met with overwhelming support and enthusiasm from both longtime fans and newer viewers. Sting’s iconic face paint, charismatic persona, and signature moves captivated audiences throughout his career, making him a beloved figure in professional wrestling.

Although Sting may no longer be seen on AEW television, his contributions to the company and the wrestling industry as a whole will not be forgotten. His legacy will live on through action figures, video games, and other merchandise that will continue to be associated with his name. Sting’s impact on the brand and his ability to connect with fans will ensure that his presence is felt for years to come.

While it may be disappointing for fans to hear that Sting’s time in the ring has likely come to an end, it is important to appreciate the incredible moments and matches he provided throughout his career. Sting’s final match at AEW Revolution was a fitting end to an illustrious journey, and his contributions to the wrestling world will forever be cherished by fans and fellow wrestlers alike.

As AEW moves forward and continues to grow, it will be interesting to see how Sting’s legacy is honored and celebrated within the promotion.
