In a recent “My World” podcast episode, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett shared his thoughts on Jeff Hardy’s latest comeback to TNA Wrestling, as well as the potential for AJ Styles to do a one-off return.
Below are some highlights from the podcast:
Jarrett shared his thoughts on Jeff Hardy’s return to TNA and AJ Styles’ potential one-off match: “Looking at AJ Styles going back to a place where he essentially started is unprecedented. Similarly, both Matt and Jeff worked for TNA two or three times each. Imagining seeing Dolph Ziggler or Nick Nemeth in a TNA ring is a clear reflection of how drastically the business has evolved. With new developments like the Netflix deal among others, it’s becoming clear that change is indeed positive. I enjoy all these incredible moments.”
On the subject of the Stacker Two sponsorship, Jarrett said: “This was devised by Spike. It’s fulfilling to know that a major sponsor has touched base with their network specifically to purchase TNA, Impact Wrestling, time in a long-term deal. They’re interested not just in making commercials but also in integrating talent and other elements. The value it adds to the show is difficult to quantify. But I can tell you that it had such a strong impact on us that Andy Barton and Dixie [Carter], along with others in our marketing team, including our marketing guy Jason Marks, worked tirelessly to execute this successfully.”
