Dennis Rodman’s appearance at AEW All Out was a huge moment and bigger than a wrestling storyline, according to AEW’s Jeff Jarrett.
Rodman, who has wrestling experience from his stint in WCW, appeared at last week’s event and accompanied The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn for their Trios title match.
Speaking about Rodman on his “My World” podcast, Jarrett highlighted the significance of ‘The Worm’ returning to Chicago. He said,
“That man, Rodzilla, coming back into the United Center. If that doesn’t get you emotional. To me, obviously, it’s much bigger than a wrestling story. To me, [it’s] much bigger than really a sports story. It’s a human interest — the emotion. Dennis got emotional during the day, and certainly at the end of the night he did an interview, but I’m telling you, it is truly a – what a week.”
As part of All Out, Rodman would hit Satnam Singh with a guitar to a huge ovation from the Chicago crowd.
