Jeff Jarrett, AEW’s Director of Business Development, hinted about the possibility of Bobby Lashley joining the AEW roster during a recent episode of his podcast, “My World.” The former WWE superstar could be a valuable addition to their lineup.

Speaking on his podcast, Jarrett shed light on Lashley’s potential arrival at AEW, having left WWE earlier this year. He quoted,

“Bobby’s career trajectory has seen immense growth, and it’s no secret that I’ve been following his career since his TNA days, which we might as well call the Impact/Anthem era, and of course, till the present,” said Jarrett.

Adding further, he said, “He would undeniably be an astounding acquisition, given his athleticism, his towering presence, his champion-like demeanour, and his aptitude for delivering an excellent performance from the start to the end bell.”

News of Lashley’s departure from WWE came to light when his profile was deleted from the WWE.com website. His six-year tenure with the company fuelled speculation about his potential move to another promotion.

In the meantime, MVP made his appearance on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, showing a keen interest in managing Swerve Strickland.

Reports suggest a possible reunion of Lashley and MVP in AEW, with MVP’s business card given to Prince Nana hinting at their former alliance, the ‘Hurt Syndicate.’
