In a recent interview, Friday Night SmackDown star Jeff Hardy stated that one of the things he’d love to do in WWE before he’s done is portray Willow, his supernatural alter ego. Particularly, he’d love to feud with Bray Wyatt and The Fiend in some sort of mystical in-ring battle.

We never knew we needed a Willow vs. 'The Fiend' @WWEBrayWyatt feud until @JEFFHARDYBRAND said it to us 🤯🤯🤯

Willow is a character that originated in Jeff Hardy’s earliest days in wrestling, particularly in his own backyard federation. The character has been on TV before, popping up in IMPACT Wrestling for a solid year when Jeff had reached an emotional low point battling with Dixie Carter. He popped up several more times throughout his IMPACT run but never ascended past where Jeff Hardy on his own went in the company or in WWE.

Considering Bray Wyatt has adopted the Lake of Reincarnation from AEW’s Broken Matt Hardy, the character would likely fit in WWE. However, whether WWE wants to bother with a potentially unpopular version of one of their most popular veterans is another matter. If you need a bit more Willow in your life in the meantime, enjoy his debut entrance in IMPACT embedded below:
