Jeff Hardy Takes A Urine Test, Throws It At Sheamus

We had known that it was possible that Jeff Hardy and Sheamus would have a face-to-face moment during tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown, but that didn’t stop it from being so shocking when the two finally got into the ring tonight.

During tonight’s opening, Sheamus and Hardy met in the ring to sign a contract for a match at the upcoming Backlash pay-per-view. Sheamus brought with him a team of security, however, and a doctor, in order to get Hardy tested. While Hardy was initially reluctant, he ended up giving in, stepping into a privacy booth with a doctor in order to give him a urine sample. As he did so, Sheamus continued to mock Hardy, telling the camera to just say no to drugs and avoid ending up like Jeff.
After the test was over and the doctor began to examine it, Sheamus continued to mock Hardy, taunting him for his past drug use. Hardy, having heard enough, slowly turned to grab the container of urine before turning around and splashing it in Sheamus’ face, shocking him and sending him falling back. As Sheamus reacted, Hardy signed the contract, solidifying their match before leaving the ring. Following the segment, the doctor caught up with Sheamus – who was trying to wash himself down – backstage, telling him that Hardy’s tests had come back negative.
