In the latter part of 2021, Jeff Hardy finished up his third stint with WWE under unexpected circumstances. During a live event, he exited a match and refused subsequent rehabilitation treatment, prompting his departure from the company. This event wasn’t sparked by a relapse into drug use, according to his sibling, Matt Hardy.

Post this episode, WWE attempted to lure Jeff back by offering a coveted spot in the WWE Hall Of Fame. Despite this, Jeff turned down the offer to join his brother in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), once his obligatory 90-day non-competition period was over.

On a recent edition of “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Jeff delved into the topic of a probable induction of The Hardy Boyz into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Recounting his earlier experience with the Hall of Fame proposal, Jeff emphasized how fitting it felt to be inducted together with Matt.

Jeff retold his experience, affirming, “Absolutely, man, and when I initially turned it down, it just seemed off to go in there without Matt. I must say, I wept following that phone conversation. I kept reminiscing about all the unforgettable moments that I’ve contributed to the world of professional wrestling. It’s something I take immense pride in, however, it just didn’t sit right with me. So, I decided to wait. If I have to do it, it will definitely be with Matt. I envision it as a Hardy Boyz thing. I’m content with one ring. I don’t fancy having two rings.”
