On a recent edition of Matt Hardy’s “The Extreme Life” podcast, Jeff spoke about going unnoticed in WWE and feeling the same way in AEW. He said,

“The last time I was in this extreme dimension of your podcast, I said in WWE I felt like I was a ghost just walking around backstage.

“Honestly, I kind of still feel like that at AEW just because not being involved in something cool, and I feel like there is something so special that we have within us to really bring out, and that brings me to things with ego. Honestly, I’m in a place in my life where wearing this Jeff Hardy (shirt), I feel like a goofy goober for wearing my own shirt. ‘Why does this feel so goofy to wear my own shirt?’”

Jeff isn’t the only Hardy member feeling underwhelmed in AEW. Recently, Matt Hardy said he has been frustrated with his role in AEW in recent months.

Jeff’s most recent match took place on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite and saw the former World Champion on the losing end of a six-man tag-team match.

Jeff Hardy, a renowned professional wrestler, has recently opened up about his experiences in both WWE and All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He expressed feeling like a “ghost” during his final run with WWE and admitted to feeling the same way in AEW.

Hardy’s journey with AEW began last year after his controversial release from WWE. The release came after WWE falsely believed that Hardy was under the influence during a live event. Joining AEW was a fresh start for Hardy, but it seems that he still struggles with a sense of invisibility within the company.

During an episode of Matt Hardy’s podcast, “The Extreme Life,” Jeff Hardy discussed his feelings of being unnoticed in both WWE and AEW. Hardy also mentioned his desire to be involved in something significant and bring out the special qualities he believes he possesses. He touched upon the issue of ego and admitted feeling awkward wearing his own merchandise, questioning why it felt “goofy” to him.

Interestingly, Jeff Hardy is not the only member of the Hardy family who has expressed dissatisfaction with their role in AEW. Matt Hardy, Jeff’s brother, recently shared his frustrations with the creative direction for the Hardys in AEW.

In his most recent match on AEW Dynamite, Jeff Hardy faced defeat in a six-man tag-team match. This loss adds to his overall sense of underwhelming experiences in AEW.
