Cobb likewise invested a long time in Ring Of Honor, recording the ROH World Television Championship. He would go on to sign with NJPW in 2020. Cobb is part of the United Empire steady, along with Will Ospreay, TJP, Great O-Khan, Francesco Akira, Aaron Henare, and Gideon Grey.
While talking to Steve Fall for WrestlingNewsCo, Cobb went over the possibility of sooner or later appearing in the Royal Rumble. Cobb stated that if whatever were to line up, he ‘d be down for the chance. He mentioned:
“You never ever state never ever. It all depends on if the stars lined up and all that things. Once again, if they desired me for some odd factor, then they ‘d need to go through the best opportunities. Due to the fact that I do not believe that’s legal, I do not believe they might call me straight. I do not understand how those things work. Yeah, if for some odd factor, they were like, ‘‘ Hey, we wan na put Jeff in the Royal Rumble,’ I’m not excellent at Royal Rumbles. I do not wish to diminish to the ring either, so… … But yeah, if the stars lined up, I ‘d be completely down to do it.”
The Royal Rumble will air this Saturday, January 28th from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The program will stream survive on Peacock at 8pm, and on the WWE network globally.
